Is there any way I can convince you to please help us find a foster for these 2 poor dogs? We are swimming in puppies…we just took in 3 litters, totalling 25. We are literally swimming in puppies :-(
These 2 dogs were abandoned in Hernando when their owners were foreclosed on. They just abandoned these 2. The dogs continue to stay at the home as if they are waiting for their family to return :-( Luckily, the man who is renovating the property has been feeding them when he goes out to work. They are running out of time though, as the renovations are nearly complete.
Please contact Steve Phelps, the contractor who has been feeding them, at 662-404-0278. DARS can pay vetting…we just don’t have a foster home.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Susan

Ali (3yrs) lost her home to foreclosure and addiction. She is shy initially, especially toward men but once she warms up she gives hugs and is very loving. She was taught basic obedience and gives paw, but for some reason was not leash trained. She needs some work there. Otherwise, she is gentle with everyone, including other dogs, regardless of size and loves to just hang out. She is very gentle and would do well with children old enough to handle a big dog
Please call Jo if you would like meet me,

2 Jack Russell Terriers NEED HELP NOW

Two Jack Russell Terriers are facing foreclosure and are in need of a new home. Jackie (female) and Russell (male) might not have very clever names, but what their names lack in creativity they more than make up for in companionship.

They’re older — both over 10 years of age — and have long outgrown the “devilish” gene that terrorizes most of them (and their owners) in their early years. They adore each other, having been together for most of their lives, which makes the owner (my neighbor) eager to keep them together in their new life. She is willing, however, to separate them if they each go to new loving homes.

She’s absolutely crushed to part with them, but has no choice at the moment because of her housing situation. And taking them to a shelter is something she refuses to do. Both of them are used to being alone together during the day, meaning that there is no need to feel bad if you work a full-time job and question whether or not you can give them the time and attention they deserve — it’s a non-issue. The pair sleep together at night in a cage and have been for years, so it will obviously be provided to the new foster owner upon delivery. She’s not looking for any money in exchange, just peace of mind knowing that they found a new home with a caring owner.

Please pass along to friends and family if you think someone might be interested. The more people who know about their sad situation the better. PLEASE HELP.

Denim needs a temporary home!

My mother is losing her home and moving in with me in Cocoa, FL. My landlord will not allow her dog, Denim, to move in and refuses to work out any sort of exception. We need to find a nice, loving foster home for him until my mom can get back on her feet (possibly 6 months, but I’m hoping less lol). He’s a great dog and I would hate for my mom to lose him along with the house… he’s a family member!
Denim is a large mixed breed dog, 2 years old, housebroken, mild-mannered and is best friends with my 7 year old brother. He’s great with children, doesn’t bite and has lived with a cat at one point (chases but doesn’t harm). Denim is a big mush and sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size. He will stare at you while you’re eating but doesn’t beg, and he will steal it if you’re not looking. He has a stuffed bear girlfriend and will often show his love for her, but he’s fixed.
I will pay for all food and toy expenses while he is living with you. If you’re interested in helping us out and are part of a happy, loving household please contact me at noellejd@msn.com.

Need temporary home for young lab mix

Phoenix, AZ

My landlord is revoking my permission to have a dog. She is a young lab mix. She is very affectionate and sweet. She is fairly high energy an curious about her surroundings, but is not a chewer or barker. I am anxious to know that she will be safe and happy for a short while (no more than two months). Please contact me if you are able to help. She is such a lover and I miss her terribly as she is temporarily staying at a kennel.
