Hi, my name is Nancy and my fiance and I are currently living with my mother, who is going through foreclosure. As far as I know we will need to be completely out of the house by June 1. We have found a new place to live, but because everybody involved has bad credit, we had to take what we could get – the place we are moving into will not allow us to have pets.
My mother has three cats, all adult, all female. They have gotten along pretty well over the years, but they would not have a problem being separated – I wouldn’t call them friends. They are all good cats – no scratching or biting (of furniture OR people :)) and they are house trained. Ideally we would like to have them all adopted, but if push came to shove I believe fostering could be an option if the foster home was willing to re-home them (we would help if you’d like!) rather than return them to us (since we will not be moving again any time soon and our landlords’ pet policy will not have changed). Obviously because of fraud and scams, we would like to charge a $30 adoption fee and interview any potential owners/foster homes. We would provide funding for food/vet care for a foster home until the animals were re-homed (we can negotiate that price).
I have set up pages for the three cats on my website (I promise, no pop-ups or tricks!) and they are also listed at petfinder.com and in the online Pennysaver. The pages list all pertinent information about the cats. The links are as follows (each page is easily printable):

I would like to assure people that we did all we could in trying to keep these animals – we would not be re-homing them if we had another option (which is one of the reasons we only have a month to re-home them in the first place – we were exhausting our other options).
