Michigan Pets in Need ASAP

My family lost our home and we can’t keep our pets with us at this time. We have 3 dogs – an 8-year-old male 50 lb husky/malamute mix, an 8-year-old female 50 lb Akita mix, & a 3-year-old male cocker spaniel – and 3 cats – 8-year-old male flamepoint exotic longhair, 7-year-old female dilute tabby calico, & 6-year-old male giant black ball of fluff (seriously, this cat is larger than some small children). All 6 are spayed/neutered & the dogs each have their own kennel. If anyone is willing to foster them for us, my children & I would be eternally grateful. Anyone interested in adopting them, I would like an open adoption and I am asking $25/each to hopefully ensure a good home. Please conact me (lamairs81@yahoo.com) ASAP as time is counting down and they need to be settled within he next week or 2. :-(

Cat #3 Needs A Home

To make a very long story short, my gf and I ended up fostering a cat, and we need to find her a home. She was abandoned at about 6 months old, and then basically lived in a cage for 6 months straight. The adoption lady we got our cats from asked if we could take her for a week or two to get her out of the cage, and some human and cat interaction. Well, after a couple weeks, my gf and I couldnt in good conscience send her back to a cage, so we still have her. Her name is Breanna, but I named her Cat #3 so I wouldnt get too attached. She’s a very sweet cat, about a year old, loves attention, and can literally tire us out from playing. She is litter box trained and doesnt scratch furniture (only the cat condo we have), she is up to date on her shots, and has had THE operation. She loves loves to sleep in our bed with us at night, and if you leave a worn tshirt around, she will instantly make that her new home. She purrs almost instantly when shes given attention, and you can tell she loves it.
Now, you might be asking yourself, she sounds like the perfect cat, why hasnt she been adopted yet? Well, this cat has her issues. She needs a very patient owner. Someone was definitely very cruel to this cat before she was abandoned. It takes a while and a lot of patience to build her trust. It took us about 1 week or 2 for her to come out from under the bed, a few weeks before she would even come up to us for us to pet her, about a month before we could walk up to her to pet her, and she’s still not comfortable being handled. I hope that our interaction would make a new experience easier on her, but she will definitely still need patience. She loves attention, but she likes it on her terms. She has learned not to scratch or bite, but she will still swat your hand away, and nip a little bit. So you need to be somewhat attentive. She is good with our cats, not sure about dogs, and I wouldnt recommend her with small children, especially with her dislike of being handled.

Her adoption is being handled by a local adoption agency, so there is a 75$ fee.Anyway, she is a very loving cat, and with some patience will be a great member of the family for years to come, so if anyones looking for a cat, or knows someone who is, let me know.
