SLC 2 great small dogs – need foster home

Hi – I am currently looking for a small dog rescue for my 2 dogs or ideally a foster family.  I have included their bio and my situation below.  Please let me know if there is any way you can help.

Twinkie - Chihuahua/Terrier mix.  11 years old.  Sight is a little gone, meaning he won’t climb stairs anymore.  A little hard headed, but a big heart.  Loves to have his belly rubbed.  Loves to play bite.  Good with older kids (like over 6).  Loves to walk.  Good at dog park but really doesn’t care for his but to be sniffed.  Loves to play with Pilar.  They are great buddies.  I got Twink from the Laguna Beach Animal Shelter when he was 1-1/2 years old. He loves walks.  He drinks a lot of water.  Twink can’t jump on beds or couchs any more.

Pilar – got her from the Little Dog Rescue from Orange, CA.  I have contacted them to see if I can have them find her another home.  Pilar was sponsered by John Wayne’s third wife, Pilar, so they kept the name.  I call her my Hollywood dog.  She is all girl, but can run with the boys.  She is a happy dog, loves to lay in laps.  Plays well with other dogs, most sizes.  She is a love.  I’ve had her since she was 1-1/2 years as well.  She is about 15 pounds.  She loves walks and car rides.  She is about 8 years old now. She loves to get into bed with you – can still jump up.  She is a rat terrier.

I have had both dogs on the Banfield Insurance since I’ve had them.  I am so lucky to have had them.  My current situation is I found out my spouse is gay.  We are separating.  I’m moving to my mom’s condo where they don’t allow pets and spouse doesn’t like dogs and won’t let mine stay until I’m back on my feet.  So I’m in a bind.  Ideally, I would love to find a foster family and get my dogs back when I’m back on my feet.  I have a house I rent out in the Liberty Wells area, but I can’t afford to live there until I am back on my feet (laid off from the home building industry back in March ’09).  Or if there is an awesome family who would love these great dogs, I would be thrilled.  I currently have them at Camp Barkalot in SLC.  I know its a sob story, but I’m desparate.

I have attached pictures.  (Not very good pictures of Twink – the blondie).

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION AND STATE/COUNTY

Harley dog needs a temporary faimly

Hello!

I am so sad for my friend!  He is having trouble finding a good place for his dog.  He is a foreclosure story.  His dog is at his sisters right now- the only option he has had, and she is keeping him in the dark garage plus she is never home!  He has given his sister many things to make it worth while but she just is not interested in helping her brother anymore.  He has also provided all the food.  She wants the dog gone by thanksgiving!  My friend was so upset this morning cause it was colder and I want to try to help him find a foster home for a large dog for maximum 6 months while he sets up a new home.  I live in a place that only allows 20lbs and he is large about 60?  A white dog, a mixed breed, pointed ears long tail.  Nice looking dog.  Nice dog.  He has got a good personality.  He sheds though and he drewls.  Nobodys perfect….lol…. I can not believe what a brat this guys sister is………anyway  if you could help or know of anyone kind hearted that likes dogs to help…….please!!!!!!

PLEASE POST YOUR LOCATION, CONTACT INFORMATION, AND PICS ASAP

Need a forster home for 2 dogs in Western Nassau, LI, NY
My son is relocating back up to Long Island with his family.  They foreclosed on their house in PA, but find they cannot make it in Florida either.  They will be staying with me for an indefinite number of months. They are looking for a caring person who will offer foster care for their 2 dogs, who cannot stay with me since our home is so small. They do not want to give their pets up, as they love them dearly. The two dogs are Scooby, a small 6 year old boxer, sweet as they come, and Foofer, (also small) a 4 year old pit, who is also sweet. They are like brothers and cannot be separated. My son is willing to offer reasonable pay for food, vet bills, yard cleaners, etc., and would like to be able to visit whenever he can, so the home would have to be in close proximity to Valley Stream. Of course, a contract would be drawn up and signed to protect all parties. Estimated date of arrival would be end of October.

Foster Homes Needed for Five Cats in CT

I’m hoping that someone can help me in a difficult situation. I have five cats that need to be fostered until I move into my new house in April 2011.  I lost my last house due to unfortunate circumstances, and it will take me a couple of months to save up for a temporary pet-friendly apartment.  I can pay for all expenses, including cat food, kitty litter, and vet bills. They are all up to date on their shots and have all been spayed or neutered. They will come with a copy of their paperwork, a litter box, food and water bowls, scratching posts, and toys. They can be split up into separate families, in pairs. I am currently living in my friend’s kitchen until I am finished with school, in an apartment that does not allow cats. I have the money to take care of them, I just need a physical location to put them in ASAP, but a kennel is way out of my budget.  I’ve tried posting ads on Petfinder.com, and putting up fliers in the Petco where I work, but so far I haven’t had any success. These cats are my babies, and I love them more than anything.  They have a forever home with me, so I do not want to put them in an animal shelter just because I decided to finish school before I go back to my career.  If you can help me, or know someone who can, or if you just need anymore information, please email me at KittyHeart95@aim.com or text me at (203)788-4947, or just leave a comment on here.  Thank you so much.

Please help us find a home or foster home for our dog – Neutered Male, 9 years old, pitbull mix

In the next few months we will be moving into subsidized housing due to our house being foreclosed on and my husband s still unemployed and enrolled in Police Academy. We are in desperate need to find a new forever home or long term (possibly up to a year) foster home for our dog, Buddy. He is a wonderfully loving dog, my one year old daughter can do anything to him! He doesn’t require a ton of exercise, he is mostly a cuddle up on the couch with the family kind of dog. He is 9 years old but in great health. His only vice is that he doesn’t get along with all other dogs, some he is fine with others he takes an aggressive stance to, however, he has never attacked another dog. We are located in West Michigan. Please help us and Buddy, he deserves better than going to a shelter.

Two Huskies need home for two months

I have two AKC Bred and Registered Siberian Huskies that I need to find a home for, for about a month, maybe two.

Both dogs are very sweet and very kid friendly.  They have to have a fenced yard because they expend a great deal of energy during the day.  They are primarily outdoor dogs as the youngest one Fluffy still likes to chew things up.

Buck is a black and white classic looking husky.  Fluffy is a full white.

Emergency–We need a foster home for our two 7 year old dogs.

My fiance and I are being forced to move at the end of this month due to our landlord going through foreclosure. I recently lost my job so we need to relocate to Ocean Couny, NJ from Cape May County, NJ but are unable to bring our dogs with us because the rental we have been approved for will not allow pit bull terriers or rottweilers. We have tried to apply with other pet friendly rentals but since I lost my job, they denied our rental applications because we do not meet income requirements in order to be approved. Only one location has approved a rental application but with breed restrictions. I will need a foster for our 2 dogs, Mocha and Diamond, for one year, until our new lease ends in September 2011. Both Mocha and Diamond are older (7, and 8 respectively)  mature, house trained, very sweet, friendly, and up to date with their shots. If a foster can take both Mocha and Diamond in we will provide their housing (crates), toys, leashes and money for their food every month.  If you can be of assistance to us, please reach out as soon as possible. We do not want to surrender our dogs to a shelter, and, no one else can or will take them in.

WE NEED YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
